Chandigarh: The Punjab government has decided to develop a smart playground in government schools, said Minister of Education Punjab Vijay Inder Singla on Saturday.
In the official statement to the press, the Cabinet Minister said that the Ministry of Education has approved the Grant RS 9.10 Crore for the development of smart playgrounds in elementary and secondary schools in the first round of smart playing projects.

He said that more than 21,000 transfers have been made based on online teacher transfer policies that provide opportunities for teachers to be transferred to a better location based on their performance.
He added that parents also have trust in government schools because around 5.5 lakh children have shifted from public schools.
