Bathinda: In a setback to the ruling Congress Party in the state, two sitting MLAS – Fatehjung Singh Bajwa and Balwinder Singh Ladied BJP on Tuesday.
Bajwa and Ladi each are MLA from Qadian and Sri Hargobindpur.
The assembly segment falls in the Gurdapur district.
Previously the Congress Party sat Mla Rana Gurmet Singh Sodhi had joined the Safron Party.
While in Delhi, the former MP member Rajdev Singh Khalsa and Ex-Mla Gurtej Singh Ghuriana also joined BJP in Delhi in front of BJP Punjab in the culture of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Cricketer Dinesh Mongia also joined BJP together with politicians.
Fatehjung Singh Bajwa’s Elder Brother Partap Singh Bajwa was sitting a member of Rajya Sabha from Congress and had risked the claim on the party ticket from Qadian in Gurdaspur.
