Ludhiana: Two fire incidents kept firefighters in the city of Ludhiana district headquarters in Punjab on Saturday morning.
There were no victims reported.
One incident occurred at a manufacturing tire factory while the other occurred in the Hosiony unit.
The first fire call was received around 4.25 in the morning about the fire at the Hindustan tire factory at RK Road near the Oswal Hospital.
In accordance with the factory security staff, the fire lasted around 3.45 in the morning due to a short circuit, with fire spreading to the nearest area.
The fire that swallowed the engine stored on the ground floor and the material was stored on the first floor of the unit.
Another incident was reported at around 6 am in the socks unit in the chip of Nagar in Tibba Road.
The fire was on the first floor of a double floor building and blazing items.
In accordance with fire officials, a single entry to the building creates a difficult time for firefighters to control the fire so they have to destroy the walls of another building on the back of this unit.
This unit is located in a thick area so extra firefighters carefully while controlling the situation.
The fire is controlled after two hours.
Sub-Fire Maninder Singh officer said, “The warehouse in the unit was damaged due to high flame and even before we reached the place.
