Patiala: Given the current crisis situation in Afghanistan, Afghani students study at Punjabi University worried about their family’s safety at home and their academic future.
Given their concerns, Representatives of Chancellor Prof.
Arvind assured them that Punjabi University was very concerned about their problems and with them during this difficult situation.
There are around 40 Afghan students studying at universities in various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Some of them returned home because the classes were held online and because of the break semester.

VC held a special meeting with this Afghan student and listened to various problems and concerns of these students.
He also assured that Punjabi University Patiala would take care of them all because the University truly understood their problems.
He said that the university would provide all possible help to all these students.
Pray for a better and safer future for all of these students, VC hopes that the situation in Afghanistan will soon improve and the concerns of these students will be accelerated.

The Department of Punjabi University offers full support to international students, especially from Afghanistan and focuses on their studies in a caring environment on campus.

University Authority patiently listened to their problems including visa extensions, ICCR scholarships, hostel accommodation, financial problems, etc.
