Of the 17 winning candidates, 16 came from the Punjabi community.
While 14 belonging to the ruling liberal party, 2 came from a conservative party, and one of the new Democrats.
The three Punjabi ministers sit in the government of the previous liberal party have also managed to maintain their seats.
Indo-Canada has won 8 seats in Ontario, 5 of British Columbia, 3 in Alberta and 1 in Quebec Province.
Of the 14th, the liberal party has won all 8 of Ontario, 4 of British Columbia and 1 of each of Alberta and Quebec.
Anita Anand Won from Oakville with a margin of 3,018 conservative voters have won both seats from Alberta, while NDP has won a single chair from British Columbia where the President of Jagmeet Singh has maintained a chair.
Overall, 49 Indian candidates were in a commotion, 17 from the liberal party and 16 of the conservative parties.
