BHUBANESWAR: Together with the ongoing uncertainty within the Class XII board examinations, pupils and parents maintain a place.
Many are contrary to the concept of conducting examinations once the Covid-19 scenario remains in its worst, though others believe that the government should consider other methods to run examinations considering the significance of it higher research.
Meanwhile, the pupils stated calculating Class XII marks on the basis of marks secured in the examinations of courses XI and XII might not create the anticipated results and isn’t a fair means of assessment.
“With Covid-19 still excruciating, a panic of disease is evident if the government decides to proceed with the board examinations.
However, the authorities must explore choices so that one year old pupils don’t go to waste,” said Puja Mishra, a pupil of a city-based greater secondary school.
Although the Centre had requested countries to submit their suggestions concerning the Class XII board examinations, the Odisha administration is yet to have any decision in this respect.
Sources said the government is awaiting the conclusions of the federal school boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
The CISCE has requested all affiliated colleges to deliver the scores of pupils in examinations ran in classes XI and XII.
“It won’t be reasonable if the plank computes Course XII marks on the grounds of operation of classes XI and XII.
For the previous one year colleges stayed closed and several pupils didn’t attend the examinations correctly.
Additionally, there are opportunities of misuse of marks from the various schools.

The CBSE had suggested to run examinations in important subjects and to decrease the length of examination, although the last decision in this respect will be taken on Tuesday.
Pupils will also be divided over if the board examination ought to be run or cancelled.
Though a group of pupils are demanding blackout dreading disease, others stated cancellation will impact their admission into professional courses and higher education institutes.
“Cancelling the examination will destroy all of the hard work we’ve put in to the previous year.
The cancellation may have a direct effect on other entrance exams,” said Shiva Tripathy, an pupil.
Subodh Kumar Panda, a parent explained,”The authorities should provide a judicious and careful consideration before choosing a last decision on the examination.
