NEW DELHI: The southwest district government in Delhi on Tuesday withdrew its day-old order never permitting entry to domestic aids and auto cleaners in residential locations.
The main reason for the withdrawal of this order, that had been effective immediately, wasn’t stated.
The prior arrangement said that maids/house-helps/car washing workers weren’t regarded as essential employees and were consequently prohibited in residential places, even as the Delhi government partly improved the lockdown from Monday using all the parade of factories and building activities.
Chief Union Arvind Kejriwal had said the practice of raising the lockdown would occur in stages.
Delhi on Tuesday reported 623 new Covid-19 instances, the smallest in 2 and a half a year, and 62 more deaths, although the positivity rate dropped under 1 per cent for the 2nd successive day.
When asked whether they received any orders concerning limitations on national aids coming to operate, B Vohrathe president RWA Federation of East Delhi, stated the choice to telephone the house-helps was abandoned to the residents because the start of the lockdown.
“We haven’t forced any choice on anybody.
We’ve been constantly asking our residents to adhere to all government requests, and because we don’t have any official note regarding domestic aids, we’ve left the choice regarding the occupants.
If they’re comfortable, they could telephone their maids,” he explained.
“While the majority of May, we barely saw any house-helps arriving at, the amounts have climbed with a decrease in the amount of instances,” Vohra said.
Anju Das, that functions as a domestic help in south east Delhi’s C R Park, also stated she was going to operate across the lockdown.
“I had been stopped twice by law enforcement at the start of the lockdown, however following a couple of days there was not any problem.

I guess everything worked for me is my company resides within walking distance from my house,” she explained.
