Puri Temple to reopen because of worshipers from February 1

Bhubaneswar: The Puri government announced on Friday that Jagannath’s temple, which was beyond the boundary for worshipers since January 10, will be reopened for them from February 1.
However, it will remain closed on Sundays for Sanitizi.
The decision to reopen the temple came in the midst of persistent demands from Jagannath Sena, a voluntary organization, and various local vendor associations to lift the sidewalk.
Many servants also want restrictions for Jagannath Darshan will subside.
“We held a meeting with Chhatisa Nijog – representatives of different servitor associations – and members of the manager’s committee.
The decision to reopen the temple in a round voice.
We must think of the balance between life and livelihoods and the economic economy, which depends on the Jagannath Temple,” said the district collector (Puri) Samarth Verma.
He added that detailed soup for Darshan will be released immediately.
He further said it would be mandatory for worshipers to bring their RT-PCR negative reports (valid for 96 hours from the date of issuance) or full vaccination evidence to enter the temple.
However, some servers were reported to request administration not to force restrictions on the intenstress of the worshipers during the Chhatisa Nijog meeting.
Sources said the temple administration planned to improve Darshan’s time from 6am to 21:00.
Residents of Puri City will be allowed to enter the temple through the West Gate, while others have to use a lion gate.
The 12th century Temple tends to remain closed on a massive opportunity to prevent a big trial.
Both the local waiter and vendor welcomed the decision.
