New Delhi: When the government competed against the time to complete the rebuilding of Vista Avenue or Rajpath in November this year, Housing Minister of Union and Urban Urban Hardeep Singh Puri had decided to hold a meeting every month.
The source said this was decided on Friday to ensure that all problems were resolved in time to avoid delays.
In a tweet, Puri said he reviewed the status of a sustainable construction work from the Vista Avenue Central Project with officials, contractors and architects on Friday.
He said, “Progress has so far satisfying and on schedule.
Residents will get the way they will be proud of.” Republican Day Parade next year will be held in Rajpath which has been changed.
Ministry officials said Rajpath’s rebuilding project involved Largescale Stonework, underpass development, underground facilities and horticultural work and enough space for parking.
“Twelve bridges on artificial canals are being built, which are expected to be a selfie point for visitors,” said an official.
The government has stated that there will be more public space and increase green closure after the project is complete.
Rajpath’s rebuilding is the first project to be resolved under the scheme of rebuilding Mega Central Vista.
