Lucknow: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Jalan Express Purvanchal 341km on November 16, the state government plans to launch an ambitious industrialization process in the interior of the highway, the longest of India.
The development assumes significance in the middle of BJP strengthens its developmental narratives, especially in the eastern region to the top socially impoverished, ahead of assembly elections.

Purvanchal Expressway, which will be associated with Yamuna Expressway (Connecting Agra with Delhi) through Lucknow-Agra Expressway, will complement the economic life to improve development in Uttar Pradesh, said Awasthi.
Industrial estates that will be part of the Purvanchal Expressway Industrial Corridor (PEIC) will consist of 12 districts, including eight Barabanki districts, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Azamgarh and where toll road will be raised before peaking in Ghazipur.
Four other districts who will come in the Ambite of the PEICE include CM Yogi Adityanath politics Backyard of Gorakhpur, Jaunpur (PM Narendra Modi area from Varanasi), Ballia and Sant Kabir Nagar.
At all, 21 sites with a combined area of ​​9,171 hectares have been identified to be developed as part of PEEC.
While two sites each have been identified in Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Ambedkarnagar, one site each was proposed to be developed as an industrial area in Want, Ayodhya and Ballia.
The largest industrial land parcel of 1,234 hectares has been identified in Ghazipur, followed by 949 hectares in Gorakhpur.
