Lucknow: Ambitious Lucknow Purvanchal Expressway, Lucknow with Ghazipur will be completed on August 31, a project monitoring group led by the Head of Secretary R K Tewari, announced on Tuesday.
The project witnessed several deadline extensions since April, following Covid-19 seconds.
The new date for completion of the freeway, the longest of India, is hammered in the midst of various development projects taking steps.
The toll road, which will negotiate through Barabanki Regency, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh and will be scheduled for inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After reviewing various express projects, Tewari said, the main road of the poor freeway would be completely completed at the end of the month.

Reviewing the construction of the Bundelkhand Expressway, Tewari was told 68.62% of the work was completed until July 31 and one side of the road will be opened for traffic on February 28 next year.
Both parties are scheduled to be completed on April 30, 2022.
Chief Executive Officer Upeida, Awanish Awasthi maintains the Bundelkhand toll road will be ready on September 30, 2022.
At Gorakhpur Link Expressway, the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) was told 26.7% of the work completed until July 31 , The main CarriageWay Gorakhpur Link Expressway will be opened for traffic on March 2022, said Awasthi.
In the case of the proposed Ganga Expressway, PMG was informed that 90.74% of 7287.93 hectares had been purchased until July 31.
The 594KM toll road will start from the NH-334 in Meerut and end at Bypass Prayagraj at NH-2.
