New Delhi: Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday took an oath as Minister of 11th Uttarakhand.
He was given an oath of office by the Governor of the Baby Rani Maurya at a ceremony held at Raj Bhawan in Dehradun.
BJP MLAS Satpal Maharaj, Harak Singh Rawatt, Bansidhar Bhagat and Yashpal Arya also took an oath as a minister in the new Uttarakhand cabinet.
They are also part of the previous cabinet.
Dhami, 45, was picked for a top post during the BJP legislative meeting on Saturday.
According to a report, several BJP senior leaders in the Uttarakhand unit were not happy for the Dhami elevation.

Ahead of his oath, Dhami himself summoned several leaders who were said to be sulking for his appointment.
Dhami met Satpal Maharaj at his residence in Dalanwala and offered him bouquets.
He understood had persuaded a senior leader, whose name was among the half dozen names that did the round until Saturday as a possibility for the position of ministerial heads.
Dhami has replaced Tirath Singh Rawat, who futures 4 months ended in the midst of uncertainty in the electoral commission holding Bypolls in the state.
