Bareilly: Special Investigation Team (Sitting) Investigating the violence of Lakhimpur Kheri believes that it has found evidence that the main murder accused Mishra Ashish’s friend, Ankit Das, was in one of the cars in the convoy and then escaped, said the source to Ti.
Four farmers and a journalist were among the eight who died that day.
The sitting brought the Ajay Mishra Ashish, Ankit and Two convoy members – Shekhar Bharti and Latef – to Kheri on Thursday under heavy security to recreate the crime scene, with forensic experts from Lucknow checking the site.
The vehicle as in the ministerial convoy on the day was brought and dolls were placed to represent farmers who protested.

Ashish lived in the police jeep while the three were asked to step out.
“The crime scene recreation has been carried out with the help of experts from Lucknow.
The investigation team has collected evidence of the defendant but the information cannot be distributed until the investigation ends,” said the Sabbath Adg (Lucknow Zone) to the Toi.
After visiting the site of violence, the defendant was taken to the land in Banbirpur where the wrestling match was held on October 3, day of violence.
Ashish previously said he was in a wrestling match when the murder occurred.
However, sitting situations have told Tii, he could not explain where he was between 14:36 and 4pm – the incident occurred around 3pm.
Ashish’s three-day police returned ending on Friday, and from the other three on Sundays.
“My client is not in the vehicle,” Ashish adviser Ashish Avdhesh Kumar Singh.
“With the yield, I will apply for a guarantee application on Monday after receiving the diary case.
I need to check what it will be the level of it by the investigation officer.” Ashish was sent back to Judicial custody on Thursday night, almost 12 hours before the police returned end.
Sitting can, however, look back back.
“Sitting can submit a re-appointment in the Judicial Resistant period of 15 days early (which starts on Sunday),” said Senior Prosecution Officer Yadav.
“Sit had found evidence that Ankit Das was in the Black Fortuner while Latef (guard) allegedly fired a shot while trying to help with the watershed and the others fled after cutting the farmer,” said a source sitting.
