Hyderabad: The only Indian woman to win two Olympic medals, P V Sindhu was given a warm welcome after she landed in her hometown on Wednesday after a bronze medal winner’s achievement in the Tokyo Games.
Reigning World Champion Sindhu, who has won silver in Rio Game five years ago, was received by the sports minister of Telangana V Srinivas Goud and other officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Sindhu was ordered in New Delhi by Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman and the Minister of Sports Anurag Thakur after returning to the country on Tuesday.
Sindhu has beaten China HE Bing Jiao in a bronze play-off on Sunday to become only Indian women and the second first of the country to win two Olympic medals.
