Coimbatore: The district government has issued a stern warning to both private hospitals which are fleecing Covid-19 sufferers and state that the hospitals must collect the authorities mended charges.Collector S Nagarajan stated that private hospitals declared as A1 and A2 inside the town company limits can bill Rs 5,000, Rs 20,000per cent 40,000, Rs 35,000 and Rs 30,000 daily for non profit –oxygen therapy, oxygen-equipped therapy, ICU/ventilator therapy, ICU/non-invasive venting, along with ICU with O2 just as a stepping respectively.There are 15 hospitals categorised as A1 and A2 such as KMCH, KG, Ganga Hospital, Karpagam Hospital, Ramakrishna, GKNM, GEM and Kongunadu hospital.Hospitals called A3 to A6 may bill Rs 5,000, Rs 18,500, Rs 36,500, Rs 32,000 and Rs 27,500 to your non–oxygen therapy, oxygen designed therapy, ICU/ventilator therapy, ICU/non-invasive venting, and ICU using O2 just as a stepping respectively.Hospitals beyond the company limit can cost Rs 5,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 35,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively to get those treatments.If hospitals overcharge, sufferers may charge to corona control area helpline amount 1077 or toll free 18004253993 or even WhatsApp 9488440322.
