New Delhi: The Ministry of Public Works (PWD) will install high pole tricolors in Kidwai East Nagar, Rani Bagh and East Vinod Nagar on August 15 to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of India, officials said on Tuesday.
This project is being run under the ‘Dishbhakti budget’ of the Delhi government.
According to PWD officials, they must install high pole tricolors in five locations on August 15 as a training sample but now, three will be installed by the deadline.
Kidwai Nagar Timur plunges on the head of the head of Arvind Kejriawal’s head which is New Delhi.
Vinod Nagar Timur is in Deputy CM constituency of Sisodia Patparisj and Rani Bagh falls in PWD Minister Satyendar Jain’s Constitution Shakurbasti.
“We did this on a very short notice so we tried hard to solve it.
We believe that high tricolors 100 feet will be installed on August 15 in Kidwai East Nagar, Rani Bagh and Vinod Nagar Timur.
Do this site also start,” said an official Senior Pwd.
He said two more locations were identified in Dwarka and the Kalkaji, but a high busty flag could not come there on August 15.
“It takes some time to identify the location to install the flag in these two constituencies so we cannot say if this job will be resolved there on August 15 but we provide our best efforts,” officially added.
In March this year, the Delhi government has announced its annual budget to them with patriotism and named ‘Budget Deshbhakti’ where RS 45 Crore has been set aside to install high pole tricolor in 500 locations in all national capital.
Other PWD officials said that after August 15 more locations will be identified and more high pole flags will be installed.
“In Kidwai East Nagar, a high pole flag was founded in a newly rebuilt housing complex park.
In East Vinod Nagar and Rani Bagh, the flag was being established in a public park,” he said.
“We survey public places, parks, land, school buildings, housing complexes to install more flags in 500 locations,” the official said.
He said the high mast flag will be arranged on the line of one in the place of Connaught in a way as at least one looks at every 2-3 km.
The official said the project tender had also floated.
