After receiving information about Python, which is 8 feet and weighs 80 kg, saved by government officials and local administration on Monday.
Then, Python was released at Bendi Forest, about 30 km from the city area on the Hazaribag-Chatra stretch of NH-33.
Church officials tie the catcher of the Murari Singh snake to arrest Python.
Singh, who is also an environmental lover related to NGO, Neo Human Foundation Center, said it was for the first time he caught Indian Python Rock.
He said, “I kept reptiles for all night and at DFO Hazaribag (West) permission, R n Mishra, was released in the forest.” Singh believes that the reptiles mainly entered the city because of the thinning and unavailability of forest areas.
DFO (Wild Division) Avinash Choudhury, who maintains hazaribag, chatra and coderma range, “it is a rare species and is protected by animal law.
The main reason for reptiles entering the heart of the city can be trying to get the warmth of the sun.”
