Pyush wobbly replaces Tharawar Chand Gehlot as the leader of the house in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: Minister of Union for Trade, Consumer and Food and Food and Textiles Piyush will replace Tharawar Chand Gehlot as a home leader in Rajya Sabha, indicating a younger leader’s induction for roles that are usually handled by veterans.
Goyal is the deputy leader when Gehlot, who has been appointed as Governor of Karnataka, is a home leader.
Before becoming Minister in 2014, Goyal was the BJP Treasurer, a post held by his father VP Goyal.
He was also involved in poll management activities.
As deputy leader of the elders, Goyal has become an effective floor manager and plays a role in major legislation.
“Congratulations on Pyush Goyal when appointed as the leader of the house in Rajya Sabha.
