Qazi claims Wankhede is Muslim during the first marriage

Mumbai: Qazi who has made Sameer Wankhede’s first marriage, director of Zonal Mumbai from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2006, on Wednesday claiming officers belonging to Muslim families otherwise ‘marriage’ will not be resolved as per Islam.
Qaazi claims came against the background of Maharashtra ministers and NCP accusations Nawab Malik that Wankhede was born as a Muslim, but fake documents, including caste certificates, to show that he was included in the Hindu category to get a job below the quota.
Clean up the UPSC examination.
“I have done ‘marriage’ from Sameer Wankhede and Shabana Qureshi.
His father has approached me to do a wedding in the Lokhandwala complex area in Mumbai.
The name of the groom is Sameer Dawood Wankhede who married Shabana Qureshi,” said Maulana Mujammil Ahmed to a news channel .
When asked about Wankhede claims that he was Hindu, said Qazi, having Sameer Wankhede being a Hindu, ‘marriage’ would not be done.
“I remember it was a pleasant wedding for sure,” he said.
Maulana also claimed that all witnesses signed her marriage according to customs.
“If Sameer Wankhede and his family members claim that he is Hindu at birth and that his father is also Hindu, then I will say it’s wrong,” he added.
He also claimed that the number of “Mehar” mentioned in marriage was Rs 33,000.
“Mehar” in Islam is a guarantee.
The term “Mehar” signifies a contract made by the groom and his family for the bride of women in their nikkah times.
Wankhede said that his father was a Hindu and the deceased of his mother Zaheeda was a Muslim.
Wankhede also said he belonged to the family “composite, multi-religious and secular in true Indian traditions” and he is proud of his inheritance.
NCB officers also stated that he married Dr.
Shabana Qureshi in 2006 under special marriage laws.
Both of them divorced together through the civil court in 2016.
Then, in 2017, he married actress Marathi Kranti Redkar, the official added.
When the controversy over marriage and religion refused to die, Wankhede, who was in the eyes of political storms after the allegations of extortion in the case of high shipping drugs where actor Shah’s son Rukh Khan was arrested, on Wednesday he said he was married (in 2006) in accordance with the habit Muslims according to their deceased’s mother’s wishes.
“Meeting the wishes of the mother’s mother in a secular state is not a crime.
I am proud of secularism in our country.
My mother is a Muslim and my father is a Hindu.
I really love both,” Wankhede said to PTI.
Wankhede confirmed that he had never converted to Islam and he belonged to Hindu caste.
He said his first marriage was registered under special marriage in a month.
“The divorce process also completes according to special marriage.
I have never repented to Islam and I included Hindu caste from my family,” Wankhede said.
Meanwhile, Wankhede’s father once again denied the allegations of Malik’s Nawab about his religion.
Malik said the real name of Wankhede senior was Dawood Wankhede and not Dnyandev Wankhede.
“I don’t understand Urdu, then I don’t know what my name is written in their documents (nikahnama).
He (my late wife) might have mentioned my name as Dawood with love.
People call each other with different names From love.
“He told reporters.
He said all government documents mentioned his name as Dnyandev Wankhede.
“When the state government recruited me, they must have verified too,” he added.
