New Delhi: In May this year, Giant Giant Google announces the integration of the platform that can be used using the OS with Samsung’s Tizen OS.
At the annual developer conference, Google announced an integrated OS Wear OS platform.
Now, Qualcomm has made announcements on the hardware side.
The chipset manufacturer has shared how it is planned to help the ecosystem that can be used new.
Qualcomm reveals that planning is to change investment in technology and chipsets that can be used.
The company plans to launch a new Snapdragon chipset during the following year.
“Our Snapdragon Wear platform has become a standard de-facto in the industry with smartwatches for children, seniors, and adults and smart trackers for pets and accessories,” said Pankaj Kedia, Senior Director and Global Chief Segments that can be charged, technology Generation, Qualcomm, Inc.
“We significantly grow our investment in the leading silicone, platforms, and technology and plan to launch a new Snapdragon platform throughout the segment over the following year to meet our long-term vision,” Qualcomm said in a statement.
Along with this, the company also announced the launch of the ‘Accosystem Accelerator’ program.
With this program Qualcomm aims to help OEM in accelerating development and commercialization that can be charged.
Qualcomm will help in connecting hardware providers and software that can be used through this program.
“Our goal is to provide vehicles in the industry where ecosystem partners collaborate to provide experiences that can be worn different and inject new energy in innovation in this interesting space,” added Qualcomm.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s head thinks that next year the company will have a chip for laptops that will compete with specially designed central processor chips introduced by Apple.
The new chip was introduced by Apple claiming to increase the battery life of the device.
Qualcomm Chief Executive Cristiano Amon told Reuters, he believed his company could have the best chip on the market, with the help of the chip architect team which previously worked on the Apple chip but now worked in Qualcomm.
