Nagpur: Doctors and health workers are testing the positive covid in large quantities during the current omicron wave.
Most of them have begun to follow the maximum international practice of 5 quarantine days before joining the task.
However, the quarantine period is at least 7 days for others.
Then ask the doctor whether ordinary people or non-Medicos must also follow this policy.
“There is no problem in following him,” said a specialist from Nitin Shinde’s infectious disease.
“People are almost non-communicable after 5 days.
Most transmissions occur between minus 2 to plus 5 days (2 days before the onset of symptoms and 5 days later).
They are hardly transmitted after that,” he said.
According to him, the target isolation policy is better at the current pandemic stage.
“By the way, it is difficult to stop 100% transmission.
So, we must have a target isolation – isolate when the probability of infecting others maximally,” said Dr.
Shinde.dr Rajan Barokar, a senior critical crates doctor, said the policy for health workers should not be followed by ordinary people.
“Our doctors and health workers join the assignment at the hospital and they are constantly under our vigilance.
How do you monitor the general people?” He asked, adding so the quarantine period ended, it became difficult to limit the commoning people of mixing at public front.
“Ordinary people can continue their house isolation up to 10 days.
There is no harm in it.
However, we cannot distance doctors and health workers from the hospital for a long time, especially when cases grow at such speeds,” said Dr.
Manish Jadhav.doctors also said health workers (HCWS) are fully vaccinated, and many of them get a booster dose too.
They also recovered faster, showing data distributed by the Maharashtra Resident Doctor Association Center Committee (MARD) at a population doctor who contracted infection.
Data showed more than 600 domesticians infected with Covid-19 in the last 15 days and more than 400 of them had recovered in 5 days and joined the task.
“Almost no one from those who need hospitalization or ICU.
Most of us recover with general medicines and care,” said Dr Avinash Dahiphale, President Mard Center.
But for non-Medicos, Dr.
Dahiphale suggested a 10-day quarantine period.
Why not for ordinary people not transmitted after 5 days, but don’t all have to end their isolation monitored by doctors in hospital so they can join jobs, not all HCW is entirely vaccinated; Many of those who make an amplifier also HCWS understand the Covid protocol is better than the general population we need health workers to meet the increase in the number of patients in the new Wavenon-Medicos can follow the length of the week’s isolation, and the quarantine of 10 days
