Silverstone (United Kingdom): Fabio Quartaro closed at his first MotoGP World Championship with groups to a fifth victory this season at the British Grand Prix to stretch his lead in the championship standings to 65 points.
The Frenchman with Yamaha did not show the bad effect of a decline on Friday which made him struggling to walk when he took the lead on lap five and subsided from the package to a 2.6 second win from Alex Espargaro with Alex Espargaro with Alex Espargaro securing the first MotoGP podium Aprilia on third position.
Quartararo started the third and slipped to fourth after a slow start, but then quickly moved through the field to hit the front.
