Jaipur: Given the revised revision of Roll Electoral (2022), a special campaign will be held for eligible voters to register on the voter list starting November 1-30.
During this period, besides adding someone’s name to the voter list, the application for claims and objections to the removal of a name, making changes in the voter list can be done online and offline.
Those who reached the age of 18 on January 1, 2022 were eligible to add their names to the selection list or voter.
At present, there are 4.95 crore voters throughout the state.
Of these, 2.58 crores were male voters and 2.37 crores were female voters.
There are 52,062 voting stations in the state.
The design of the publication of the roll of roll for 198 constituencies will be issued on November 1, the Head of the Praveen Gupta Head Election (CEO).
“The draft publication for the constituency of Vallabhnagar and Dhariawad will be issued on November 9,” Gupta said.
Special camps to add and deletion of names will also be arranged at the polling station on November 14 and 21.
“When receiving claims and objections, STAN level officers will be available at each electoral station along with the voter list.
At the time scheduled to receive the application,” Gupta said.
“In special camps, the Booth level officer will be present together with the Booth level agent designated by political parties to receive applications for claims / objections from 9am to 6pm,” he added.
Gupta said to create a clean and error-free voter list, the Booth level officer had been directed to contact the birth and death registration offices in their respective regions to get a fresh list of the deceased.
“After verifying the dead voters, according to the list, they must submit a report to the election registration officer for the removal of the name,” he said.
According to the schedule, the final publication of the voter list will be held on January 5, 2022.
