Queen Elizabeth II spends the night at the hospital for the test: the palace

LONDON: Queen Elizabeth II spent the night at the hospital for the test after being forced to cancel a visit to Northern Ireland this week, said Buckingham Palace on Thursday.
“Following medical advice to rest for several days, the Queen attended the hospital on Wednesday afternoon for several initial investigations, returned to Windsor Castle at lunch today (Thursday), and remained in a good spirit,” said a statement.
The British Domestic Association news agency said the trip to the hospital was stored under a wrap because it was expected to remain brief, and also to protect the 95-year-old Monarch privacy.
An overnight stay was for “practical reasons”, he added.
The palace made an announcement after a sunbathing newspaper ruined the news.
Tabloid said it was decided he had to stay at the private King Edward VII Hospital in Central London because it was too late to travel 26 miles (42 kilometers) back to Windsor.
He had previously been treated at an exclusive clinic, which was known to take care of the royal family, including in 2013 for gastroenteritis, when he also lived for one night.
In 2003, the surgeon at the hospital removed small non-cancerous growth from his face and operating on his knee, while in 1982 had the youngest teeth extracted.
The late Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, spent four weeks from February this year for treatment for the existing heart condition.
He died in April, only a few weeks before his 100th birthday.
The head of state, who was on the throne since 1952 and was the longest serving king in England, said to return to his desk on Thursday afternoon, carrying out light tasks.
He has matured to attend ecumenical services in the Armagh border city on Thursday to mark the 100 Centenary of the Creation of Northern Ireland.
But the palace said on Wednesday morning he had “reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days”.
The decision was not related to Coronavirus and he was said to be resting in Windsor.
Queen, who is still driving and driving on his personal plantation, has had a busy schedule since returning from a long-range Balmoral plantation in northeast Scotland in early October.
But the news that he spent in the hospital would definitely increase his health concerns, considering his elderly, and the question of whether he had to slow further.
Next year he will celebrate Jubilee Platinum to mark 70 years on the throne.
Last week, he delivered a speech at the opening of Welsh’s assembly in Cardiff, and on weekends spent one day at Ascot Racecourse.
On Monday, he held a virtual audience with the new Governor General of New Zealand, and on Tuesday received two ambassadors, also with videolink.
On Tuesday night, he hosted a reception in Windsor for international business leaders who attended the government’s investment summit, including billionropic billions Bill Gates, and Senior Minister of England.
At the reception, the Queen looked cheerful when she was, the eldest son and heir of Prince Charles, 72, and the grandson of Prince William, 39, mingled with guests, no one wore facemask.
Coronavirus restrictions are appointed in the UK in July but increasing cases have encouraged calls for steps that must be regulated to prevent remote contact transmission further.
The case of the daily virus crossed a 50,000 mark on Thursday, according to the latest government figures – the highest since July 17.
Ratu and Prince Philip moved to Windsor in March last year because the Coronavirus outbreak held.
The decision was made to isolate himself because of an increased risk of infection because of their age, even though he was vaccinated.
Queen is still expected to join other senior royals for a series of events related to the UN climate summit that will come in Glasgow next month.
Last week, he was seen at the time at a large general event using a walking stick, but royal officials said it was not related to certain health conditions.
