Vadodara: Sleuth Branch Crime has focused on two autorickshaw drivers suspected of having sexually an 18-year-old girl at the campus of the Institute of Vaccine.
The police said that it questioned dozens of people every day while also scanning CCTV recordings.
“We questioned two suspects but there was no concrete evidence of them.
It cannot be ascertained that they are involved in evil.
Every day, around 15-20 men are asked,” said a crime branch official.
The police said that they could not get CCTV footage from Malhar Point because of flyovers under construction.
“But, we have a recording of other CCTV based on what we ask the Autorickshaw driver,” officially added.
Vadodara’s crime branch helped the Government Railway (GRP) in an 18-year-old boy who hung himself inside the Gujarat Queen Express coach at the Valsad Railway Station on November 4 on November 4.
