Both members of Maradona’s medical staff were expected to be contested by investigating judges Monday, that would then determine whether charges should be drawn from them.
If they’re billed and then found guilty they could encounter between eight and 25 years .
Even the 60-year-old footballing icon died of a heart attack at November 2020, only weeks after undergoing brain surgery on a blood clot.
Prosecutors think Maradona’s departure was caused by malpractice or threatening actions by his own physicians, which lacked his medical state and led to his departure.
Back in May, an exploring specialist medical panel reasoned that he was abandoned to his destiny for a”lengthy, painful period” prior to his departure.
The legal proceedings had been motivated by a complaint filed by a couple of Maradona’s five brothers from his neurosurgeon, Leopoldo Luque, that reacted tearfully into the accusations, stating he’d”whatever he couldup into the hopeless” to an”unmanageable” individual.
