Chandigarh: On the Republican Day this year, Tablo from Haryana will showcase the exploitation of the country in sports in the parade in Rajpath.
The theme ‘Haryana – number one in sports’, Tablo will feature international furniture from the state.
In 2017, Haryana’s Tabloe on the Theme ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao was chosen for the R-Day parade.
Haryana Tableau is divided into two parts.
The front consists of horses and conch.
The pulling horses symbolize the ‘Vijay Rath’ from Mahabharata.
The conch placed here is the Shell Symbol of Kong Lord Krishna.
The second part of the tableau is divided into four parts.
The first part symbolizes the Olympic area, with two wrestlers providing wrestling demonstrations on the mattress.
In the next two parts, 10 international sportsmen from Haryana will look standing.
The last part of the tableau will have a replica of the size of the gold medal Olympic Neeraj Chopra in the position of Javelin throws.
On both sides of the tableau, there will be artistic boxing representation, weightlifting, shooting, throwing discs and hockey.
Haryana Additional Director for Information, Public Relations and Language of Kuldeep Saini will accompany Bajrang Punia’s sportsmen, Rani Rampal, Yogeshwar Dutt, Mamta Kharb, Antil Sumit, Deepep Punia, Hardal, Yogesh Kathuniya, Rampal, Ranjet, Ashu and Anil Above.
Haryana, the state with only 1.3% geographical territory and 12.09% of the country’s population has become one of the top contributors to the achievement of the country’s sport.
Of the total seven medals won by India at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Haryana Sportspersons won four medals, including a single gold medal in the individual category.
Sports from Haryana won four of the total six medals at the 2012 Olympics and one of the two medals at the 2016 Olympics.
For the state government, the tableau would describe the performance of the state in sports and achieving a small state too.
