New Delhi: Metro Delhi service will be partially restricted on the Republican day as part of the security settings for the day in accordance with instructions from Delhi police.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, in the official press record issued today, mentioned the guidelines.
Service on Line-2 (downtown Huda – Samaypur Badli) from Metro Delhi will be arranged partly on Wednesday.
This is done as part of the security settings for the Republican Day celebration in accordance with Delhi Police’s instructions.
For the Badli Center-Samaypur Huda-Samaypur route, the entrance and exit at the Central Metro Station and Udyog Bhawan will still be closed from the beginning of the income service until noon.
The Central Secretariat Station will only be used for passenger exchange between Line 2 and Line 6.
Enter and out in Patel Chowk and Lok Kalyan Metro Metro Station will still be closed from 8:45 to noon.
All Metro parking lots will also be closed from 6am at 25 to 2 noon on January 26, 2022.
This step has also been taken as part of a security setting.
Given the beating ceremony retreat, on January 29, 2022, on the occasion of beating retreats, Metro services at the Central Secretariat and Metro Bhawan Metro Station from Line 2 (downtown Huda-Samaypur Badli) will not be available starting at 14:30 PM.
However, passenger exchanges from Line 2 to Line 6 (Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh) and vice versa will be permitted at the Central Secretariat Metro Station during this period.
Normal services at these stations will be restored at 6:30 a.m.
