New Delhi: How uniforms and rifles of Indian soldiers have evolved over decades since Indian independence was displayed at the Republican Day Parade this year.
Three Indian soldiers wear uniforms and carry rifles from the previous decade, while one contingent wore a new combat uniform and brought the latest laughter rifles in the 2022 parade (RDP-2022) as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav “celebrating the 75th year of Indian independence .
There are a total of six turmoil soldiers in the parade this year.
