Nagpur: The Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari said that the application that was looking for sanctions for building plans continued to be delayed for 8-9 months in the Nagpur City Planning Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) because the racket was run by the broker.
Tiwari stated this at a meeting held by MPM and Union ministers for road transportation and highways, Nitin Gadkari.
Similar complaints were raised by former Mayor and MLC Pravin Datke, also the corporator, at the meeting.
In accordance with the press release issued by the Gadkari office on Saturday, Tiwari was quoted, “there is no need for people to approach the NMC city planning department to provide sanctions for plans to plot up to 200 square meters.
However, such plans are in large numbers and continue to be delayed, “He said.
Tiwari and Dateke also said that ordinary people face serious problems because they get requests for RS7-8 Lakh requests to provide plan sanctions.
“Previously, the application that was looking for a building plan of up to 200 SQ M was used to go to the zone office.
Now, all plans are seen by the city planning department located at the head office.
This also causes serious discomfort to people,” they said.
Corporate Corporator Pressurhe said, “Tiwari and Datke’s statement clarified that BJP did not have control over the administration of NMC.
Also, it was proven that BJP did not know how to regulate the Civic body.
People must teach parties in the upcoming election.
The mayor must resign on moral land , “he said.
Citing complaints related to the NMC City Planning Department in large quantities compared to other government institutions, Gadkari directed the administration to send resolutions passed by the NMC General Agency to reduce development costs.
“If the accusation is carried out by the government, the NMC must conduct a study, take legal opinion and limestone the right plan to reduce them,” he said.
Gadkari also directs NMC and NIT to start receiving applications for all services and discards cases online.
“The collector’s office must issue akhiv Patrika from the city survey office and other services online,” he said.
Gadkari also discussed various problems related to nit and collector’s office.
