Chennai: The Council of All India for Technical Education (AICTE) has broken the main work racket in the state in which the Scamster targets young people who are unemployed from rural villages.
Working until last minute details, gang continued false recruitment on the technical council for non-existent positions such as state coordinators, head inspection officers, and even the taluk coordinator.
Fraud was revealed when Aicte received a call asking about vacancies.
This racket is carefully planned with negotiations that do the exam and choose only those who get a value above the 50% mark for the week.
They even came up with a separate clothing code for male and female candidates in test centers along with mandatory mandatory nails and strained appearance for physical interviews conducted at a star hotel.
The Southern Aicte regional office to find out about fraud when several candidates are checked with the Board about vacancies.
“It was confirmed from a telephone call that the recruitment process was carried out in secret and interviews were being carried out at a star hotel.
They used the Aicte logo and requesting the bank details from candidates.
About 18 people have been recruited,” M Sundarsan, Aicte regional officers, said in his complaint.
The government mainly targets youth in Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, Kanchipuram, Salem, Madurai and Coimbatore Regency.
Speaking with Toi, Sundarsan said, Aicte has not been advertised for recruitment for each post.
“There are only 13 posts approved at the Southern Aicte regional office.
But the Scamster recruited 18 people in each district,” he added.
Racketeers plans to start another interview on Sunday.
The selected said the details of their bank were collected.
Officials worry there is a possibility of fraudsters to take money from candidates and police chosen must stop them immediately.
