Letter: Prevention of Crime Branch (PCB) Sleugga captured six was accused of allegedly selling a mixture of chemicals as biodiesel for two attacks carried out in the Suratan Godadara region on Tuesday.
The defendant sold material to bus and truck owners as fuel at Rs 75 per liter.
The police seized valuables worth Rs 14 lakh from the defendant including two fuel pumps used to fill chemical liquids in diesel vehicles.
Police Arrested Janak Ratna Nageshree (24) and Raj Karshan Katariya (24) from the warehouse was established in an open plot near the RTW building plot near Parvat Magob Overhead Tank.
A total of 10,800 liters of chemical worth RS 8.10 lakh is stored in a tank found on the plot.
In addition to tanks, shipping vehicles and fuel pumps, total valuable goods worth 12 lakh confiscated from place.
In another attack, the police arrested Sudhir Vaghamsi (32), Dilip Bala Gurjar (34), Dhiru Pancha Katariya (32) and Ashok Shamji Baldaniya (39) to sell duplicate biodiesel.
They were found to sell fuel in the Godadara warehouse.
The police confiscated 430 liters of chemicals worth Rs 32,250 from their ownership.
“How the liquid was made and its contents were not confirmed.
The accusation cannot produce documents that allow them to sell chemicals.
This seems to be a part of a larger racket,” said Sanjay Bhatiya, Police Inspector, PCB.
Previously, PCB damaged rackets to sell chemical mixtures as biodiesel in the Sarthana region.
