Bareilly: Bareilly police claimed to have damaged sex rackets and arrested eight people, including three women, during the attack in a house in the Gandhoram area below the boundaries of the Premnagar police station here on Sunday night.
Police said the racket was run by a married couple in rented accommodation.
Police said all were accused of being ordered under the relevant section of non-immoral trade laws, 1956 and sent to prison on Monday, while they sought other charges involved in the racket.
The defendant was used to send photos of girls to their prospective clients on WhatsApp, police said.
SP (City) Ravindra Kumar said, “We have received a written complaint from landlords that the delivery run the sex racket from his house and his image was tarnished with such activities.
