Rafael Nadal said on Saturday that he recovered at home after receiving treatment at Barcelona for the problem of the foot which forced him to cut his 2021 campaign.
The big winner 20 times suffered with back problems at the start of the season before pulling out of Wimbledon and the Tokyo Olympics.
Nadal announced last month before the US open that repeated foot injury would not allow him to compete for the rest of the year.
In an Instagram posted a 35-year-old rider, the fifth place in the world, said he had finished his care.
The source close to the Nadal team said left-handed players did not undergo surgery.
“I can tell you I was in Barcelona with my team and medical team to have care at my feet who would need a few days and a few weeks out of action,” he said.
