Rafiq calls the root ‘good man’, but criticizes it because of asking for ignorance

LONDON: Former Yorkshire player Azeem Rafiq on Tuesday called Joe Root “a good man” but expressed his disappointment at the British Skipper Test to beg for ignorance with what he described as “institutional racism”.
Rafiq narrated the experience of racism and discrimination at the club in detail when he spoke to members of the British parliament in the Digital, Culture, Media and Sports Committee (DCMS).
He asked the establishment of British crickets where people tended to forget the existing racism.
The root recently said that the racism scandal in Yorkshire County had “broke our match and torn to raise hands”.
“Rooty is a good man,” Rafiq during hearing.
“He has never been involved in racist.
I feel very painful because the rooty is a friend of Gary Trantance.” “Maybe he can’t remember it, but it only shows the institution that people are good as he can’t remember those things.” England International Gary Trantance admitted earlier this month that he called Rafiq ‘Paki’ (referring to the origin of Pakistan) during the time the joint pair in Yorkshire but maintained it was done “in the spirit of friendly banter”.
On Tuesday, Rafiq told parliamentary members, the word ‘Paki’ “was used constantly” across his two spells in Yorkshire and said that no authorities prominent to racial harassment.
Rafiq accused Yorkshire from institutional racism in September last year, encouraging the club to launch an investigation into the allegations.
However, the handling of their problems has been very criticized.
A report found by Rafiq was the victim of “racial and intimidation harassment” but the club refused to take action against anyone.
“Pretty early, me and other people from Asian backgrounds …
there are comments like ‘you sit there near the toilet’, ‘elephant washing’.” The word ‘Paki’ is used continuously.
And there seems to be acceptance at the institution from leaders and no one has ever fended up, “Rafiq told DCMS.
British Leg-Spinner Adil Rashid has supported the allegations of racism Michael Vaughan Times Yorkshire against Michael Vaughan, said he could” confirm “Comments of the former captain directed In a group of Asian players.
Rafiq has claimed that Vaughan said to a group of team team players that there are “too many of you, we need to do something about it” before the match in 2009.
Asked about Vaughan, Rafiq said: “It is important for Michael Don’t make everything about Michael.
“It’s been a long time ago.
He might not remember it because that doesn’t mean anything for him.” However, Vaughan has denied the allegations.
“If we make changes in cricket, we make changes in society,” Rafiz added.
Asked to compare care in Yorkshire to everyday life, Rafiq said: “My daily life as long as I know it has become a cricket.
It’s hard to compare.” Cricket is worse than society.
If we make changes in cricket, we make changes in society.
Everyone is responsible for the people we live in, “said the 30-year-old player from Pakistan.” Come on, sort out where we are, then hopefully it will have an impact on society.
