Ragpicker was killed on a drunk fight

Madurai: The 38-year-old Ragpicker was killed in the city of Madurai on Friday night by other Ragpicker on a verbal duel under the influence of liquor.
The deceased has been identified as Mariappan, 38, from Thathaneri.
He was found dead with a head injury on Jalan Selur 50 feet.
A police team led by Inspector Madasamy reached the place and conducted an investigation.
The investigation revealed that the last Mariappan was seen when consuming liquor with Shed Sheik Mohamed from Narimedu.
While consuming liquor, Sheik told Mariappan that his income came down because both of them looked for cloth in the same area.
He asked him to find another area.
Miss this, MariPpan defeats Sheik.
In anger, Sheik took the log and attacked Mariappan.
When MariPpan fell unconscious, and Sheik left the place.
Based on Sheik’s confession, the police arrested Sheik.
He was returned in judicial custody.
