JAMU: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday arrived here for a two-day visit, he will also visit the holy city of Katra to pay respect at the famous cave temple of Shree Eye Vaishnodevi.
On his arrival, the leaders of the congress were enthusiastic and large amounts of workers welcomed him and bathing petals in Gandhi outside the airport of Jammu.
Then he was led to the city of Jammu in an impressive rally by party activists.
Immediately, after his arrival, the leader of the Congress went to Katra to pay his heart at the Temple of the Sacred Cave.
The party spokesman said that the Congress leader would walk on foot to pay respect at the Sacred Cave Temple of Vaishnodevi.
“On Friday, he will interact with the party delegation at the JK Resort in Jammu from 1100 hours to 1230 hours”.
Party spokesman said, “He will also interact with senior party leaders and will return to New Delhi.” On August 10, Gandhi visited Dargah Hazratbal along with Kheer Bhavani’s temple in Srinagar.
JKPCC Spokesman Ravinder Sharma, Neeraj Gupta and Sahil Sharma coordinated the visit of AICC leaders.
On September 7, Senior AICC leader and responsible for Jammu and Kashmir’s business, Rajni Patil visited the city of Jammu to take preparation for a visit Rahul Gandhi.
Rajni Patil held a high-level meeting with PCC President G A Mir and other senior leaders to discuss the arrangements made in this relationship.
