Wayanad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took part in a review meeting to discuss various development projects in the Constituency Area of Wayanad Lok Sabha and gave instructions to accelerate work.
Gandhi, who made a two-day visit to Wayanad, attended a meeting held in the Collectorate District.
“Participating in a review meeting at Wayanad Collectorate on various development projects.
Evaluate projects that ensure comprehensive development of Wayanad with central funds, state and CSR.
Instructions are given to accelerate the project,” Gandhi office at Wayanad Tweeted.
Previously on that day, Gandhi inaugurated a farmer day program at Karickery Panchayat and spot farmers at the Auditorium Bank Karairsery at Wayanad.
The President of Panchayat VP Smitha presented Onakkodi (festive clothes as part of Onam) to Gandhi.
The leader of the congress who had arrived in Kozhikode on Monday morning, had met with students from the tribal community, which broke the general law entrance test (CATAT) and lunch with them.
