New Delhi: The leader of the Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi along with several lawmakers from the party held protests in parliament in supporting the ongoing struggle of farmers.
The farmers, who have been camping along the Border of Delhi for months have arrived at Jantar Mantar to strengthen their agitation of agricultural law.
This is the first time a farmer will be in Delhi since violence January 26.
A group of 200 farmers were escorted by Delhi police from the Singhu border to reach Mantar, where they would protest the entire duration of the Monsun Parliament session.
Farmers protest: The direct update “This struggle lasted for 8 months.
Our Panchayat ran peace for 8 months.
Peace, we will keep our point in front of the government.
Pancrayat will be held at Jantar Mantar, which is called the Criminal Parliament.
5 Buses will go to Delhi .
We will stay at Jantar Mantar for all parliamentary sessions, “Uni Leader Bharatiya Kisan Tikait Rakesh.
