New Delhi: Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday slammed the central government to increase unemployment rates in the country and said that because of this, students were forced to protest.
Taking to Twitter, Wayanad MP shares media reports stating, “Unemployment reaches a record level: 3.03 Youth Crore in the country does not have a job.
The unemployment rate is more than during the locking period.” The next report said that the number of idle youth in this country has increased to 1.26 crores in just four years.
“This statistic shows why students are forced to take Satyagraha.
Arrogant people are still sitting with their eyes closed! #StudentsProtest #unemcountment,” said Congress leader in Tweet along with media reports.
This happens in the midst of students protesting alleged irregularities in the NTPC Stage 1 exam results of the Railway recruitment board.

Meanwhile, the train ministry also formed a high power committee to look into concerns and doubts submitted by prospective employment in connection with the results of the first phase of computer-based test (CBT) from non-popular technical (NTPC) non-categories (NTPC) issued by the Refupment Railway (RRB) board on January 14-15.
Candidates were given three weeks to February 16, to submit their concerns and committees after checking this concern would submit their recommendations on March 4.
In particular, the results of the NTPC RRB for the CBT-1 exam were released on January 15 to quit candidates for CBT-2.
Given the agitation of students in the train recruitment board exam, the train ministry has decided to suspend the popular non-technical (NTPC) category and level 1 test scheduled to be held on February 15 and February 23.
