New Delhi: The leader of the Twitter account Rahul Gandhi has temporarily suspended and the maturity process is being followed for recovery, the party tweeted on his official handle on Saturday.
Congress said that Rahul will remain connected with his supporters through other social media platforms.
“He will continue to raise his voice for our people & fight for their purposes.
Jai Hind!,” Party posted on Twitter.
On Friday, Rahul posted a controversial tweet with his photo meeting with a family member of a nine-year-old Dalit girl who died after alleged sexual violence.
Tweet is then reduced by the microblogging website for violating the rules.
However, it is not clear whether Rahul’s account has been suspended because of controversial tweets or for other reasons.
