New Delhi: Minister Delhi Gopal Rai on Sunday departed for Mumbai for the treatment of follow-up from his spinal bone injury, the source said.
Rai was supposed to go to Mumbai before, but the second wave Coronavirus postponed the visit, said a source.
The Minister will be in Mumbai for about two to three weeks, he added added.
Rai had previously been treated for injury at the Appolo Hospital three and a half years ago.
In December last year, he went to Mumbai after he felt weakness in his muscles and found it difficult to work.
In the absence of Rai, the portfolio has been ‘temporary’ allocated to Deputy Chief of Manish Sisodia.
The previous source said the new robot technology was used in RAI treatment which would strengthen its muscles.
