Kolkata: The State Excise Department conducted a raid at the Hindusthan International Hotel in Central Kolkata recently and questioned the authorities of alleged violations of restrictions related to Covid.
The source in the State Excise Department said the acting above, officials visit the hotel past the closing time of the official bar 8:00 and allegedly heard loud music coming from inside.
But before they can catch a drink or dancing offender, there is a short cutting of the following that there are no guests at the hotel bar.
However, hotel officials were allegedly called to report in the office of collecting excise and issued an explanation on Thursday.
Toi made many calls and text messages to senior officials responsible for the daily activities of the hotel but there was no response until the end of Friday.
Last week, the police had arrested 37 people from Park Hotel at Park Street when they found about 50 strange guests in the second and third floor corridor from dancing hotels and drank during a surprise attack at 1am – 9pm – 9:00 – at night Kicking across the country because of Covid-19.
After the arrest, the Excise Ministry has banned the sale of liquor from all nine bars in the park to the completion of the investigation.
