Mumbai: MSEDCL has detected power theft with 4.93 crore Rs songs in the ice factory in Virar.

The source said that more than 3.3 lakh like meters with 0-30 reading units have been checked by MSEDCL field staff so far.
The power utility firm has also noticed that those who face temporary termination in the Mumbai Metropolitan region because they do not pay bills since April 2020 switch to Power Historage.
Officials have been directed to get registered firets in many cases so that there is a strict sentence for violators.
