Patna: Bureau Investigation of Sleuth’s vigilance on Friday withdraws cash and assets worth more than Rs 4.3 Crore which is thought to be disproportionate with sources of income known to Bihar Rajya Pul Nigam Limited (BRPNNL) Ravindra Kumar (40).
Sleuth who was aware of capturing RS1.43 Crore in cash, a fixed deposit RS20 Lakh and RS53 lakh stored in 15 separate bank accounts, gold and silver ornaments worth more than RS67 Lakh.
They also found moving and non-moving assets worth more than RS1.47 Crore collected by engineers on behalf of his wife Rajni Kumari Sinha and two children other than property.
Armed with a search letter after registering a case of disproportionate assets (DA) against it on August 11, the team of alert led by DSPS Sarvesh Kumar Singh, Aditya Raj, Pawan Kumar and Vikash Kumar Srivastava (experiment) invaded a personal three-storey residence of engineers.

They said Kumar had a plot of 25.9 decimals in Jantipur, bought in December 2015.

He said besides cash, ornaments and savings books from various bank accounts and life insurance documents, they are looking for land.
Engineers say this is stored anywhere else, he said.
The source said vigilance began to gather information about its assets in October 2019.
They said their income from salary since joining the service on August 4, 2004, was RS1.21 Crore, which included RS1.85 Lakh loans.
“In the FIR phase, he was found to have an immovable properties worth RS1.23 Crore and Moving Assets worth RS98.86 Lakh.
