Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation on Monday started a boost to gather important items to help those affected by floods and landslides in Raigad Regency and asked people to contribute generously.
TMC, in the release, said the people at Mahad-Polashpur, where Tatiye Village flattened with landslides, and other areas were flooded after rain continuously needed mineral water, clothing, towels, food and seeds, blankets, sanitary napkins , Candle, torch etc.
Meanwhile, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation said he had sent a team of 43 people and a group of 20 volunteers to Raigad for assistance work.
