Raipur: ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, thousands of voices roared as the remnants of Fauji Raigar family – Colonel Viplav Tripathi, Anuja and Child’s wife – flown to their home city on Monday and take procession for the country’s funeral.
Colonel Tripathi and his family were killed in a terror attack in Manipur on Saturday morning.
Raigarh is turned off to give respect to the family.
The colonel’s large posters and their families were seen across the city.
Thousands of people came to Raigarh from other districts to attend the funeral in the land of Ramlela.
The three bodies were taken by the IAF An-32 aircraft at 12.42, escorted by Colonel Hospital Thakur from Assam rifle.
On behalf of CM Bhupesh Baghel, the Minister of Higher Education Umesh Patel, Raigarh MP Gomti Sai and Local MLA pay homage on the ground.
Their bodies were brought in open trucks with people walking on both sides, increasing the slogan ‘Bharat Ki Jai’ and ‘Viplav Tripathi Amar Rah’.
When the bodies were taken to Tripathis residence in Kirodimalnagar, Viplav Subhas Tripathi’s father – local everyday editor – struggled to fight tears.

They have visited Viplav, Anuja and ignored in Manipur in Diwali and just returned last week.
Brother Viplav Lt Colonel Anay Tripathi also paid his efforts.
When a small coffin was removed from the house on the shoulders of the army, the lamentation rose among the mourners.
A honorary guard is given in the crematorium when parents and other family members look.
The atmosphere changed more gloomy when Asha saluted that the remnants of her son and shouted ‘Jai Hind’ after all his family members put a bouquet of flowers in the crematorium here.
