Yavatmal: The district experiences heavy rain along with hail in many places on Tuesday night.
Tehsils like Babhulgaon, Kalam and Ner were hit hard by ice hail which destroyed ‘Harbhara’ and ‘tour’ to a certain extent.
The Rained Yavatmal City too.
According to Tehsildar Santosh Doifode, there was heavy rain and hail in Babhulgaon where at least 16 villages were hit hard and the plants had been damaged.
In Ner Tehsil, some villages are very affected.
At Kalam Tehsil, Hailstorm damaged plants in Savargaon Village, Talega and Pimpal Khuti.
“We have ordered surveys to ensure damage and reports will be submitted to the government,” Doifode said.
