Aurangabad: When heavy rains painted Maharashtra, as many as 31 people lost their lives in a separate incident in the Marathwada area in the past week.

145 Rainfall Hit Circles in this region are from Aurangabad, Jalna, Latur, Osmanabad, Bed and Nanded District, he added.
According to officials, Khanapur Circle in Nanded received the highest rainfall in the region.
In accordance with rainfall which was recorded in 24 hours until 11:30 a.m.
on Tuesday, Khanapur Circle received 173.50 mm rainfall, followed by the Kingaon Circle of Latur at 166.50 mm, the Turkabad circle in Aurangabad at 159.50 mm.
So far since September 1, 687 pets, including 598 poultry birds in Jalna District, perished in the area were the result of heavy rain, the official said.
