Rain Decision: Death Penalty

New Delhi: Many of them are frustrated by misery on a wet streets on Tuesday it might think the rainy season arrives in the city of 16 days late but has lived longer than speech.
Delhi woke up to the torrent in the early morning – the second ‘heavy’ season rainfall – which measured 100ml of rain until 8:30 a.m.
at the Safdarjung weather station.
With 380.9mm the rainfall which was recorded so far until Tuesday morning, this was already July in the last 18 years, only be exceeded by 632.2mm which was recorded in 2003.
The average expectation of the rainfall in July was 210.6mm.
After exceeding the sign this year, Delhi is likely to cross the 400mm mark in the next 24 hours, with the Indian Meteorological Department predicted light to moderate rain on Wednesday.
IMD classifies rainfall as ‘heavy’ when precipitation is higher than 64.5mm in a 24 hour duration.
While 100mm recorded in Safdarjung, which is a base station for Delhi, station at Palam, Lodhi Road and Ayanagar recorded, respectively, 68mm, 86.8mm and 69.8mm rainfall on Tuesday.
Kuldeep Srivastava, Scientists at the Regional Office and Head of the Met Regional Office, said that even though the onset was late, the intensity of the monsoon’s rainfall was strong and the wet weather was expected until the end of the month.
“Mild rainfall is currently expected on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, while drizzling can occur on Thursday.
Light baths are also expected on Sundays, which might be able to take monthly rainfall to the 450mm mark,” said Srivastava.
The maximum delivered maximum temperature of the rain on Tuesday is 29.4 degrees Celsius – Five notches below normal.
The moisture is relatively oscillating between 79% and 100%.
The IMD data shows that while the average rainfall is recorded in Safdarjung until July 27 each year is 183.5mm, 2021 has produced a surplus of 108%.
Road Palam and Lodhi also have rainfall surfalls, 81% and 90% of normal, respectively.
The first ‘heavy’ rainfall day of the current rainy season came on July 19, when Safdarjung recorded a 69.6mm precipitation and four other stations – Palam, Najafgarh, Narela and Pitampura – also crossed the same benchmark.
Forecasts for Wednesday have a maximum temperature that drifts around 28 degrees Celsius and light to moderate shower in all capital.
Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality was placed into the ‘satisfying’ category on Tuesday, with the air quality index (AQI) of 98, with PM 2.5, PM 10 and NO2 became the main pollutant.
The count of high NO2 shows idling vehicles due to traffic cream caused by roads that are flooded.
This year saw the onset of Monsun no later than 19 years, beaten only in 2002, when the rain arrived in Delhi on July 19.
The normal date for wind bearings to reach Delhi is June 27.
IMD said it would arrive unlikely to change the overall estimate for Delhi for this year, and the possibility of rainfall ‘normal’ in the region.
